Grade 1 Applications for 2026

Application period: 24 July – 29 August 2025

Grade 1 applications are regulated by the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE). Applications must be made via the GDE's online platform for admissions (www.gdeadmissions.gov.za), where supporting documents should also be uploaded.

Grade 2-7 Applications for 2026

Application period: opens Monday 28 July 2025. Application forms for Grade 2-7 applications will be available for collection from the school once the application period opens. These applications are made directly at the school, subject to availability in the required grades. Please note that applications for Grades 2-7 are not processed on the GDE platform, and no electronic submissions are accepted. Forms must be submitted during admission hours: Monday-Thursday (08h00-12h00).

Grade R 2026 Applications

For children born in 2020, the application period was from June to October 2025 and has CLOSED.

2025 School Fees:

Danie Theron Primary is a co-educational, English-medium, section 21 fee-paying school. The school fees for 2025 are as follows: Grade R 2025: R10 400 per child per year (subject to an 8 to 10% increase); Grade 1 & 2 2025: R10 400 per child per year (subject to an 8 to 10% increase); Grades 3-7 2025: R10 400 per child per year (subject to an 8 to 10% increase).

- Certified copy of unabridged birth certificate of applicant

- Certified copy of father's ID document

- Certified copy of mother's ID document

- Certified copy of vaccination/clinic card

- Original proof of residential address (utilities statement)

- Proof of parents' employment/work address/es

- Most recent school report
