Grade 1 admissions are regulated by the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE)

Applications are made via the online-platform for admissions of the GDE (www.gdeadmissions.gov.za)

Supporting documents are uploaded onto the GDE online-platform

Application period: opens Monday 28 July 2025

Application forms will be available for collection from the school, once the application period opens.

Grade 2-7 2026 applications are made directly at the school/s, subject to availability in the grade/s required.

Applications for Grades 2-7 are not made on the GDE-platform & no electronic applications are accepted.

Submission of forms during admission-hours: Monday-Thursday (08h00-12h00)

For children born in 2020, the application period was from June to October 2025 and has CLOSED

2025 School Fees:

Danie Theron Primary is a co-educational, English-medium, section 21 fee-paying school

Grade R 2025: R10 400 per child per year (Subject to an 8 to 10% increase)

Grade 1 & 2 2025: R10 400 per child per year (Subject to an 8 to 10% increase)

Grades 3-7 2025: R10 400 per child per year (Subject to an 8 to 10% increase)

1. certified copy of unabridged birth certificate of applicant
2. certified copy of father's ID document
3. certified copy of mother's ID document
4. certified copy of vaccination/clinic card
5. original proof of residential address (utilities statement)
6. proof of parents employment / work address/es
7. most recent school report
